Poem Title

Ships in the Night

Back

Two ships traveling in the night,

They turn toward each others light.

Will they hit and burn and sink below

or

Pass each other by without a glow?

One moves away and turns about,

Sailing close by, now there's no doubt.

He calls across and throws a line,

Companions found and this is fine.

Two ships traveling in the night,

Their lights fade slowly out of sight.
